Big League Weekend


For the past two days, half of the Los Angeles Dodgers have been in San Antonio, Texas for Big League Weekend. Yesterday, the Dodgers beat the Ranger 11-6 and today the Dodgers beat the Rangers 11-3! Overall the Dodgers scored 22 runs in two games at the Alamodome.

Game 1

In game one five players hit a total of five homeruns. Those players were: Yasiel Puig, Matt Carson, Joc Pederson, Enrique Hernandez, and Justin Turner. Besides homeruns, there were many other scoring plays. The Dodgers scored 8 of their 11 runs in the first inning alone.

Bedard started game 1 and gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He also struck out 1 and walked 2. He only pitched the first inning but still got the win.

Game 2

In game 2 four players hit a total of five homeruns. Those players were: Enrique Hernandez, Justin Turner, Adrian Gonzalez (2), and Buck Britton. Although the same amount of runs were scored today, they were spread out more over all nine innings.

Greinke pitched 4 innings, gave up 3 hits, struck out 6 and only walked 1. He seems to be ready for the 2015 season.

We're almost to opening day of the 2015 season! Only a couple more weeks!

ST Game 2


Today, the Dodgers had a better outcome, they beat the White Sox 6-1. Kershaw started on the mound in a redemption game for the Dodgers.

Kershaw's line was: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, and 3 K; a great start to the his Spring Training routine.

Kyle Jensen also had his first homerun with the club today!

The lines was Dodgers scored 6 runs on 6 hits with 1 error while the White Sox scored 1 run on 5 hits and 2 errors.

The Dodgers took the lead right out of the box scoring one run in the first inning. Throughout the entire game, until the ninth inning, they kept the White Sox scoreless. The White only scored one in the very last inning, but the Dodgers had already scored their six runs by then.

Tomorrow the Dodgers travel to Maryvale stadium to face the Brewers at 1:05pm MST!

First Spring Training Game


Here we go! Today was the Dodgers' first Spring Training game and it was against the White Sox! Now although this is training, you always want to see your team win however the Dodgers took a loss, 6-4. (Oh well, it's just Spring Training right?)

The line was the White Sox had 6 runs on 9 hits and 0 errors and the Dodgers had 4 runs on 10 hits and zero errors.

The Dodgers were trailing almost the entire game; starting from the top of the second. Although the Dodgers lost, the team played pretty well considering all of the new guys on the squad. Regardless of what happened, the Dodgers will be back on the field tomorrow at noon! This is just the first game, welcome to 2015!
