Series Recap: San Francisco Giants 6/19 - 6/21
The Dodgers avoid a sweep, losing two of three in Los Angeles.

Friday | Loss: The Dodgers lost to the Giants 9-5. The offense did pretty well but the Dodgers just could not pull ahead against the Giants. Joc Pederson and Justin Turner both had doubles while Justin Turner also had a homerun. Yasmani Grandal, Justin Turner, Adrian Gonzalez, and Alberto Collaspo all had RBI's; Justin Turner and Alberto Collaspo had two-out RBI's. Howie Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins grounded into both double plays and the team left five men on base.
Defensively, the team did pretty well. The Dodgers turned two double plays; a 6-3 double play and a 3-6 double play! Mike Bolinger started the game and pitched 5.1 innings. He gave up five runs, eight hits, one homerun, three walks and struck out six batters. He was charged with the loss.
Saturday | Loss: The Dodgers lost 6-2. Offensively, the team didn't do too well; only scoring two runs. Yasiel Puig hit a double while Joc Pederson and Justin Turner both hit solo homeruns. Joc Pederson and Justin Turner had the only RBI's of the game. Justin Turner also grounded into a double play and the team left six men on base.
Defensively, the team did alright. They turned a 1-4-3 double play. Carlos Frias started the game and pitched 5.1 innings. He gave up six runs, five hits, two homeruns, one walk, and struck out two batters. He was charged with the loss.
Sunday | Win: The Dodgers beat the Giants 10-2. Offensively, the team did very well! Joc Pederson, Kike Hernandez and Jimmy Rollins all had doubles while Yasmani Grandal, Adrian Gonzalez and Justin Turner had homeruns; Yasmani Grandal hit two. Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, Yasmani Grandal, and Adrian Gonzalez all had RBI's; Grandal had a two-out RBI. Brett Anderson also had a sacrifice bunt. The team left nine men on base.
Defensively, the Dodgers did very well.. Yasiel Puig had an outfield assist and the team turned two double plays. THose duble plays were a 3-6-3 double play and a 5-4-3 double play. Brett Anderson started the game and pitched six innings. He gave up one run, five hits, two walks, and struck out one batter. He was awarded the win.
The Dodgers next series is against the Chicago Cubs in Chicago.
